    What this call funds

This call funds the day-to-day operation of National Coordination Centres (NCCs) that support the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre network in each EU country. Money goes toward helping local cybersecurity communities, especially SMEs and startups, adopt modern cybersecurity tools, and about half of the grant is meant to be passed on as financial support to third parties doing this uptake work. It's meant to strengthen national cybersecurity capacity and coordination rather than fund new tech R&D directly.
