Grant Compass is built by Dealflow, which works where Europe's startups meet public innovation funding — nine contracts delivered for the European Commission, and 10,000+ Horizon-funded innovations and 21,000+ vetted innovators, investors and service providers in the network.

The people who answer you here are Dealflow's grant team: the ones who write EU applications for a living, including our own — the INVEST grant, won and delivered 2022–2025.

Most grant consultants are paid to say yes. We are paid to write applications that win — so the first thing we do is tell you whether yours can. About Dealflow ↗

    What we actually do

We write it with you. You keep the technology, the vision and the final word.

    16%of proposals win funding

Of the 73,291 proposals submitted to EU calls where the Commission has published the outcome, 11,424 were funded. The rest got a rejection letter.

    European Commission data

That is why the first call is where we say no. If we do not think a call is winnable for you, we say so and we do not take the work — there is no version of this where you spend weeks writing something we already knew would lose.

    1. 01A fit call first: we tell you if the call is winnable before any writing starts
    2. 02We draft the full proposal: excellence, impact and implementation
    3. 03Budget tables, annexes and portal forms built for you
    4. 04If the call needs partners, we find them and coordinate the consortium
    5. 05Weekly review cycles, then submission ahead of the deadline
    6. 06Pitch coaching for a live jury, and rework from the evaluator scores if it misses
