What this call funds
This call funds a single EU-wide coordination project that maps and connects pilot plants, test rigs and labs used for scaling up bio-based processes. It aims to build an open database and a lasting community linking these facilities with SMEs, start-ups, researchers and investors, and to offer training and matchmaking support so smaller companies can scale up their bio-based technologies toward commercialisation. Part of the funding can be passed on as small cascading grants to SMEs and start-ups needing scale-up support.
