    What this call funds

This call funds large-scale demonstration projects for next-generation tandem solar PV technologies that go beyond the efficiency limits of standard silicon panels. It supports building and testing the industrial-scale manufacturing processes and equipment needed to bring these higher-efficiency solar cells to market, helping rebuild Europe's solar manufacturing base. Projects should also include a clear business plan for scaling up and commercializing the technology.
