What this call funds
This call pays for building or planning transport infrastructure (rail and road) near border crossing points on the EU's external border, to reduce congestion and speed up traffic flow. It can cover studies or physical works to improve road/rail links, parking areas for trucks, and waiting zones near border checkpoints. It does not fund standalone border-check equipment, administrative buildings or parking for border staff.
