    What this call funds

This call pays for building and deploying modular repair equipment that can be quickly installed on ships to fix broken submarine telecom cables in Europe's seas. The goal is to make sure Europe can respond fast when a cable is cut or damaged and normal commercial repair services can't fix it in time. Funded work includes designing the repair modules, preparing at least three ships to carry them, and setting up the operations needed to get them running within days of an emergency call.

    Who wins this

This call is aimed at public entities with an emergency response mandate (such as civil protection agencies, coastguards, or navies) that can coordinate with national authorities to build, deploy and operate submarine cable repair modules across EU sea basins.
