    What this call funds

This call funds projects that develop and scale up EU-based production of stable isotopes (especially Yb-176) needed to manufacture medical radioisotopes used in cancer therapies like Lutetium-177 treatments. The goal is to reduce the EU's dependence on imports (mainly from Russia) and build a secure, resilient European supply chain for nuclear medicine. Activities should focus on prototyping, testing, piloting and scaling production processes, with limited research allowed.
