    What this call funds

This call funds projects that make European Ka-band satellite user terminals cheaper and easier to manufacture at scale, for use with the IRIS2 and GOVSATCOM secure connectivity programmes. It supports work like qualifying production processes, building pilot units, validating manufacturing equipment, and creating cost models rather than pure research or studies. The goal is to get terminal technology ready for mass production of around 1000 units per month.
