    What this call funds

This call funds projects that make navigation, positioning and timing systems more reliable and accurate, especially as backups when GPS-like satellite signals are jammed or lost. It supports combining 5G/6G networks, IoT sensors and AI-based signal processing to create resilient alternatives, and also funds work on 'e-conspicuity' - helping drones and small aircraft see and avoid each other using mobile networks, plus analysis of the regulatory issues involved.
