    What this call funds

This call funds projects that develop and scale up bio-based alternatives to synthetic fertilisers and crop protection products, like biopesticides, biofertilisers or biostimulants. Projects need to prove these products work efficiently at industrial scale, are safe and sustainable by design, and can be produced and tested on real farms across different soil and climate conditions. The goal is to reduce Europe's dependence on synthetic/mineral agrochemicals while improving soil health and food security.
