What this call funds
This call funds research projects that develop digital tools—like sensors, monitoring devices, and AI-powered decision support systems—to help farmers manage water and nutrient scarcity better. The goal is to give farmers practical, affordable technology to adapt to climate change, reduce pollution from fertilizers, and protect biodiversity, while also generating open, high-quality data to train future AI tools for agriculture. Two projects are expected to be funded with a combined budget of 12 million euros.
