Ecodesign and energy labelling compliance support facility for suppliers and retailers
LIFE Projects for addressing ad hoc Legislative and Policy priorities (PLP) · LIFE-PJG · Needs partners
What this call funds
This LIFE call funds a support facility that helps manufacturers, suppliers and retailers understand and comply with EU ecodesign and energy labelling rules. It combines proactive outreach (training, guidance, promotion of the EPREL product registry) with reactive support such as a help-line, plus pilot online compliance checks on retailer websites across several EU countries. The goal is to boost awareness and compliance, especially among smaller suppliers and dealers who are less connected to trade associations.
energy efficiency · sustainable materials · circular economy · regional development
Who wins this
A consortium of European trade associations, consumer and standardisation bodies, and market surveillance organisations experienced in ecodesign/energy labelling compliance support who can jointly run an EU-wide information, help-line and monitoring facility.
