    What this call funds

This call funds projects that set up national platforms bringing together governments, installers, financiers and utilities to remove regulatory and market barriers blocking wider adoption of heat pumps and solar thermal systems in existing buildings. The goal is to make alternative financing schemes (like heating-as-a-service, leasing or community financing) more viable so households and building owners can more easily afford renewable heating and cooling upgrades. Projects should analyze barriers in 3 to 5 countries, propose and start testing solutions, and quantify energy savings, emissions reductions and investment triggered.

renewable energy · energy efficiency · smart grids · climate adaptation · regional development

    Who wins this

A consortium of at least three organisations from three different eligible countries—such as public authorities, industry associations, or energy agencies—capable of convening national stakeholder platforms to reform financing and regulatory frameworks for heat pumps and solar thermal in buildings.
