    What this call funds

This call funds projects that help energy communities grow up and work together across Europe. You can either help set up or strengthen 'second level' communities that support many small energy communities with shared services, financing, and coaching, or you can run peer-to-peer mentoring and technical support to help existing energy communities implement concrete projects like renewable heating, energy efficiency, flexibility services, or electromobility. The goal is to move energy communities beyond simple solar projects towards more advanced, sustainable and financially viable activities.

renewable energy · energy efficiency · smart grids · energy storage · climate adaptation · regional development

    Who wins this

A consortium of at least three organisations from three different eligible countries, including energy communities, federations, or support organisations, that wants to either build capacity for second-level community structures or deliver peer-to-peer support for community-led energy projects.
