What this call funds
This call funds large, multi-year strategic projects that help EU countries, regions, cities or industries actually implement their climate plans - things like national energy and climate strategies, adaptation plans, urban climate-neutrality plans, or greenhouse gas reduction roadmaps. Rather than doing the work itself, the project should trigger and coordinate the bigger changes and additional funding needed to fully carry out the plan, working closely with the public authorities and stakeholders responsible for it. Projects run in phases of at least three years and are expected to build lasting capacity so that partners can keep delivering the plan after the project ends.
