What this call funds
This call funds research projects that help balance farming income, food security, and environmental goals as new markets emerge around bioeconomy products and 'nature credits' (like carbon and biodiversity credits). It wants tools and policy recommendations that let farmers diversify income streams through sustainable business models without threatening food supply or land use, while supporting climate and biodiversity goals. Two large collaborative research projects are expected to be funded.
