What this call funds
This call funds research projects that develop safer, bio-based alternatives to hazardous chemical substances currently used in biocidal products like wood preservatives and mosquito insecticides. Winning projects will test these new substances for safety and effectiveness, aiming to eventually replace harmful active ingredients while protecting human health and biodiversity, including pollinators.
