    What this call funds

This call funds large demonstration projects that help regions on either side of an internal EU border work together to cope with shared climate risks like flooding, wildfires, drought or sea level rise. Projects must test real solutions - technical, nature-based, or governance-focused - in at least two cross-border areas, and prepare a plan for a third region to replicate what worked. The goal is to make bordering regional and local authorities jointly more resilient to climate change rather than planning adaptation in isolation.

climate adaptation · environmental monitoring · water management · biodiversity · regional development · civil society democracy

    Who wins this

A consortium of regional/local authorities, research organisations and SSH experts from at least two neighbouring EU or Associated Countries that jointly run cross-border climate resilience demonstration sites and support a replicating region.
