What this call funds
This call funds projects that develop and test biotech solutions—especially those using soil microbes—to clean up polluted soil and restore soil health, while boosting crop yield and quality. The goal is to get these solutions close to market-ready so farmers can rely less on synthetic chemicals and have more resilient, productive land. Winning projects need to prove their approach works across different soil and climate conditions and show a realistic path to market adoption.
