    What this call funds

This call funds a coordination and networking project that builds international cooperation and dialogue around the circular, bio-based economy. It's about mapping who's doing what globally in biotechnology, biomanufacturing and biorefining, building trust and dialogue between the EU and international partners, and producing a roadmap of recommendations for policymakers and industry. It does not fund product development or research itself, but rather stakeholder engagement, analysis and policy coordination.

bioeconomy · circular economy · sustainable materials · biotechnology · regional development

    Who wins this

A consortium of research, policy or industry organisations with expertise in bioeconomy governance and international cooperation, able to run stakeholder engagement, analysis and networking activities (including social sciences expertise) with a focus on international partners such as South Africa and Latin America and the Caribbean.
