What this call funds
This call funds a single coordination project that helps connect national governments with regions and cities on climate change adaptation, building 'National Adaptation Hubs' in each EU country. The project will pass on grants to help set up these hubs, and it will organize groupings so regions facing similar climate challenges can learn from each other. It runs through the end of 2030 and builds on a prior EU Mission Adaptation project.

A number of non-EU/non-Associated Countries that are not automatically eligible for funding have made specific provisions for making funding available for their participants in Horizon Europe projects. Financial and operational capacity and exclusion described in Annex C of the Work Programme General Annexes. 5a. Legal and financial set-up of the grants Beneficiaries may provide financial support to third parties to allow for the establishment, animation and facilitation of National Adaptation Hubs. The support to third parties can only be provided in the form of grants, to a maximum of one entity per EU Member State or Associated Country. The maximum amount to be granted to each third party is EUR 200,000[[It is estimated that EUR 60,000 - the usual amount maximum amount that can be paid to a third party - is an insufficient amount to establish a National Adaptation Hub.
