    What this call funds

    This call funds a joint public-private procurement project to develop and de-risk key renewable fuel production technologies (like advanced biofuels, biomethanol, e-methanol) so they reach near-commercial readiness. Multiple public and private buyers across Europe will jointly commission R&D providers to build and test these fuel production value chains, sharing risk and cost. The goal is to get these technologies to TRL 8 and ready for market uptake beyond 2030.

    General conditions 1. Admissibility Conditions: Proposal page limit and layout Due to the complexity of the topic, the page limit for proposals is increased to 60 pages. described in Annex A and Annex E of the Horizon Europe Work Programme General Annexes. A number of non-EU/non-Associated Countries that are not automatically eligible for funding have made specific provisions for making funding available for their participants in Horizon Europe projects.
