    What this call funds

This EU Defence Fund call finances joint purchasing of air and missile defence systems by groups of Member States and associated countries. It covers radars, interceptors, and command-and-control systems that can counter missiles, aircraft and drones, but not short-range systems against low-flying drones. The goal is to help countries buy defence equipment together, cutting costs and improving interoperability, with common procurements needing to be worth at least 80 million euros.
