What this call funds
This call funds projects that develop new bio-based additives to replace harmful chemicals currently used in materials and products, so that those materials can be recycled or biodegraded more easily. Proposals must demonstrate the additives at a fairly advanced testing stage, show they work safely across at least two different market sectors, and prove they don't release toxic substances during use or end-of-life. The goal is to make more everyday products and packaging genuinely circular.
