    What this call funds

This call funds the development and validation of a layered protection system for undersea infrastructure like cables and pipelines. It covers unmanned vehicles, sensors, underwater detection and communication systems, plus command and control integration, so that maritime authorities can better monitor and respond to threats to seabed assets. Proposals must build on results from earlier civil-focused EU projects and must have rights to use and commercialise those results.
