Towards a Europe of Bioeconomy Places

What this call funds
This call funds projects that help turn local and regional areas into thriving 'Bioeconomy Places' - regions that use biological resources sustainably to boost jobs, investment and well-being while protecting the environment. Funded projects must set up at least three real-world pilot sites across different countries (including one in Ukraine) to test governance models, skills training, and business support for the bioeconomy transition, and develop criteria for what makes a place qualify as a genuine 'Bioeconomy Place'.

A number of non-EU/non-Associated Countries that are not automatically eligible for funding have made specific provisions for making funding available for their participants in Horizon Europe projects.
