What this call funds
This call funds research collaborations that study how ecosystems and wild animals are affected by pollution, climate change and other pressures, and how declining ecosystem and wildlife health in turn affects human health. It wants teams to build shared measurement tools and evidence, assess the human health costs of nature loss versus the benefits of restoration, and turn this into practical policy advice for governments adopting a 'One Health' approach linking environment, animal, plant and human health.
